Happy Thanksgiving!

Just a note before the week starts to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving.

Am not sure what is happening with my site as I only seem to be able to center everything, not align left. Oh, well....never a dull moment.
I went to work Friday and it was easier than I expected. Carol had not told anyone I was returning and there were volunteers to man the phones and run interference. Nothing had been done on the newsletter so that allowed me to get a good start on it without a lot on interruptions. If the job were like that all the time, I probably wouldn't have resigned! Anyway, I will be glad when December is over and I can eliminate work/a job from my schedule.
My plan was to have a quiet, restful weekend, which I sorely needed; however, everywhere I looked there were things that needed to be done, especially since I'm going to NC again on Thursday. I didn't hurt myself but I also never stopped. Even so, it is really good to be home again. Today has been cold, dark and rainy - a perfect day to be inside and busy.
My mother seems to be doing well, with a steady stream of visitors. Two of her neighbors are in the same facility and whenever anyone comes to visit, they seem to make the rounds and visit everyone they know. She is in good spirits and is still determined to get up and out as soon as possible. I hope that continues.
Not a lot else happening here but, after the last couple of weeks, quiet is good! Take care.
